Who we are

Eklekta is the trading name of EKLETKA DIZAJN, obrt za umjetničko stvaralaštvo, vl. Elio Karamatić, Od svetog Mihajla 8, Dubrovnik, Croatia, OIB 51478785783. We are the controller of the personal data described below. For anything about your data, write to hello@eklekta.net.

What we collect

Only what you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, the topics you pick and your message. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this site.

Why, and on what basis

We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to prepare and carry out that work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Who else handles it

The site is hosted by Netlify, which receives form submissions and forwards them to us, and our email is handled by our email providers. They process the data on our behalf and only to deliver this service. Some of them may process data outside the EU; where they do, they rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. If it leads to a project, we keep the correspondence for as long as the work and our legal obligations (for example, accounting rules) require. Otherwise we delete it once the conversation is over.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Just email us. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Other services on this site

Project images are served from DatoCMS's content delivery network, which, like any web server, sees your IP address when it delivers them. Some project pages offer YouTube or Vimeo videos; nothing loads from those services until you press play, and from then on their own privacy policies apply.
